Library — Your Personal Financial Memory

You conducted thorough research, developed a strategy, analysed the perfect entry point — and weeks later you can't remember where you noted any of it. The Library solves exactly that problem.

Saving Snippets

Any finAgent response, analysis, or Auto-Research report can be saved as a snippet with one click — including all questions, answers, data, and charts.

  1. Run an analysis in finAgent or receive an Auto-Research result.
  2. Click the bookmark icon next to the response.
  3. Optionally add a title and choose a category.
  4. The snippet appears in your Library immediately — searchable and accessible at any time.

Reusing Snippets in New Chats

This is where the Library truly shines: saved snippets can be loaded into new finAgent chats. Your previous analysis becomes the context for your next question — you build on prior work instead of starting from scratch every time.

Develop a Strategy Over Time
You worked out a dividend strategy a few months ago. Load the snippet into a new chat and apply it to current data.
Example: "Here's my dividend strategy from last quarter — which of my current positions still fit?"
Build Comparison Analyses
Compare new market entrants against companies you analysed previously — your old analysis is the starting point.
Example: "I valued Nvidia this way last year [snippet]. Has the thesis held up? Compare against current figures."
Document Buy & Sell Decisions
Record why you entered a position. When you're thinking about selling, the original reasoning is right there.
Example: "Why I bought ASML back then [snippet] — does the original thesis still hold?"

Your Decision Archive

The Library also serves as a decision log. If you're considering selling a position today, you can pull up the original buy analysis from the Library — and check whether the arguments that convinced you then still hold up now.

Get into the habit of saving important finAgent analyses right after the conversation. Over time you'll build a personal financial archive that grows with you.
